Everycare Dorset provides a wide variety of homecare services, including respite, trips out, holiday support etc. in Bournemouth, Poole and the surrounding areas of Dorset.
Whether your needs are for just a few hours of care support a week or full time care, we provide a service tailored to meet your needs. Home care is normally a far more cost effective option than residential care, enabling clients to maintain their independence within the comfort of their own home.
Care can be provided by our comprehensively trained and qualified Community Care Assistants, Health Care Assistants, Registered Nurses, or sometimes a combination of staff grades. The service is customised specifically to meet the needs of the client. All our staff are trained to provide personal care – we do not normally just provide domestic services but this is often incorporated as part of a care support arrangement.
Our range of home care services includes:
Home care support from just a few hours a week to more intensive support. This can include all aspects of personal care and also meal preparation, domestic tasks, shopping etc.

Choosing a home care provider.
Your choice of whom you invite into your home and permit to assist you is of crucial importance.
If you possibly can, take your time choosing. Contact several providers if possible and ask them to visit you to talk about your needs. Our charges are normally fully inclusive (no hidden extras) so make sure that you ask about charges (are there any hidden ones such as for the initial assessment or mileage –some even charge a fixed supplement for the provision of basic hygiene products that are a fundamental and essential tool of the job?); ask about reliability; are they registered with the Care Quality Commission – if so you can check their last inspection rating on the CQC web site; how long have they been in business; can you meet the carers they intend to use before committing yourself; what about Disclosure and Barring Services checks?
Above all – if you feel they are trying to sell you something you do not want, walk away! If you can, ask to visit them at their operational headquarters. Above all else, probably the best protection of all is personal recommendation. That is how we find many of our staff and clients and it can often be a reliable pointer to a good service provider.
