Everycare is a National company that exists through a network of individually owned and operated franchised offices, providing domiciliary care and/or professional nursing services.

The Company

Everycare originated in April 1993 in response to the introduction of the 1993 Community Care Act, as a development of a highly successful residential care business.

Due to the remarkable success of the pilot operation in Cardiff which achieved a first year turnover in excess of £0.5 million, the directors launched the first franchise in 1994. The network has grown to 16 offices, with several having annual turnovers in excess of £2 million.

The Everycare Service

Everycare provides health & social care staff to both private and Local Authority service users and contractors in their own homes and qualified nursing staff to both public and private sector organisations providing health care services. Everycare has developed a tried and tested business system for the administration and successful development of all these services.

The total markets for these services are estimated to be in excess of £18 bn annually in the UK .

The Everycare service breaks down into two distinct parts:

1. The Provision of Domiciliary Care Services

You will recruit a team of health & social care assistants to provide the support services that we offer enabling your customers to have a better quality of life and be cared for in their own home.

2. The Nursing Agency

The Everycare Franchisee will also obtain business by the provision of a Nursing agency service. Nurses will be supplied to hospitals, care homes, industry and private service users and contractors. Our nurses are fully trained professionals who are registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council.

The Business Package

The business package comprises an initial two week training course split between our Head Office and a Premier Franchisees Office, assistance with obtaining government registration, help with recruitment of key personnel, advice on local marketing, complete stationery and promotional material, uniforms, bespoke computer software, operational manuals, staff manuals, policies & procedures, IT support via the Internet and a pension scheme for all employees.

Franchisor Support

To assist franchisees in establishing their own Nursing and domiciliary care business the Everycare team, headed by Mary Cottrell, are experienced in the commissioning and the administration of the daily operation of Nursing and domiciliary care services. Each Franchisee will also receive support from a dedicated Premier Franchisee. This team will provide guidance with all aspects of marketing and help setting up initial contracts in your area.

There is also the facility for ongoing staff training at our Head Office, along with distance support via the Internet and a telephone helpline during office hours.

There are also half yearly franchise conferences and continual support from like minded professionals.

Franchisee Investment

The initial cost of the complete package is £25,000+ Vat. A typical total investment figure of approximately £60,000 is needed and includes the initial franchise fee, all start-up costs including setting up and equipping a fully functional office plus initial marketing costs together with the necessary cash flow requirement.

A typical offices second year profit (for a business with a territory of 300,000) would be a turnover of £403,747. Total costs including staff wages and all overheads £322,826 and a net profit £80,921. N.B. this is based on an existing franchisees audited accounts for their first full accounting year.
